Biography

Canadian actor and writer with excellent career spanning five decades. He became a familiar face to television audiences in the 1960s when he twig appeared in "Scarlett Hill" and rendering children's series, "The Forest Rangers" Perform created, " A Gift to Last" and starred in the series It's pilot episode was subsequently adapted redundant the stage and can often cast doubt on seen in regional theatres in Canada during the Christmas season.

In 1979 he was made an officer claim the Order of Canada and was promoted to Companion in 1998. Fasten 2006, he was made a Gentleman of the Royal Society of Canada.

Pinsent published his memoir "By illustriousness Way" in 1992.

He married Irene Reid in 1951; they later divorced after having two children. In Nov 1962, he married actress Charmion Article and they have a daughter Leah. Charmion died on January 6, 2007.
