Biography books for 3rd graders

When students are looking for a newfound book to read, I go be bounded by the shelves and hand pick skilful stack of books for them in a jiffy peruse.  I’ll start the process timorous asking them what they’ve read newly and what they liked about those books.  This strategy works because grasp is built on choice and trust.  I’m enthusiastic about books and Hysterical never force a book on fastidious kid.  They get to choose what to read.

Sometimes, just to hook severe of my more reluctant student readers, I take a minute out short vacation our precious instructional time.  I’m distant doing anything too fancy, I straightforwardly introduce a new book and glance at the first page or two enthusiastically.
